Freight, answered.
Most forwarders reply to an enquiry with more questions. We reply with a number.
We arrange air, sea and road freight for companies shipping into and out of Europe — and we built the pricing layer first, so the lane is usually costed before you write to us.
The three-line version
Coserva is a UK freight forwarding and transport-data company. We move cargo, we run public freight pricing portals, and we pass on the enquiries we cannot serve ourselves to partners who can.
We are not a carrier. We own no trucks, ships or aircraft — so we have no reason to push a shipment onto the wrong equipment.
What we do
Freight forwarding
Air, sea and road. Door to door, airport to airport, or any leg in between. Customs handled through accredited partners at both ends.
Transport data and pricing portals
We build and operate the systems that price a lane before anyone picks up the phone. airfreightprice.com for air cargo. opentransporthub.com for transport data.
Enquiry distribution
When a shipment is better served by someone else, it goes to a vetted partner rather than into a drawer. That is a business line, not a favour.
How an enquiry actually moves
This is the part most forwarders keep vague. Ours runs on rails:
Parsed, not read
Route resolved to airport codes, chargeable weight computed, cargo class identified. Automatic, in seconds.
Matched against who really flies it
Several independent research agents identify the forwarders and consolidators that actually operate that lane, then cross-check each other. Only companies with evidence for the specific route survive.
Out within minutes
Requests go to the operators most likely to price it well — with the cargo facts and nothing about you. Your name never leaves our office.
First price in hours, not days
We send the first firm rate as soon as it lands, with a transit time and a validity date. If something better arrives, you get the better one.
Who is behind it
Coserva is new. The work behind it started in 1997.
Our founder began in freight forwarding in the late 1990s, as an administrator of one of the first online freight exchanges in the region — the kind of system forwarders now take for granted. Then fleet telematics: co-founder of a company fitting GPS tracking and fuel control to hauliers' trucks, later running a telecoms department doing the same at scale. Then two decades of building web and data systems — during which the clients who kept coming back were, almost without exception, transport companies.
We stopped resisting it. Coserva is that circle closing: the freight, the fleet data and the pricing systems in one company, run for our own account rather than someone else's.
